Caption: Sidney Powell Pleads Guilty in Georgia Election Interference Case. On Oct. 19, the former Trump lawyer pleaded guilty "to six misdemeanor counts of conspiracy" to interfere with 2020 election results, NPR reports. She was scheduled to appear for a joint trial with Kenneth Chesebro on Oct. 20. The plea deal will require Powell to "serve six years of probation" and pay a fine of $6,000, NPR reports. She must also pay $2,700 in restitution to reimburse the state that purchases new election equipment and write an apology letter. Additionally, Powell must provide "any requested documents or evidence subject to any lawful privileges asserted in good faith prior to entering this plea". Powell is one of 19 individuals charged in the election interference case. She previously denied any wrongdoing. Bail bondsman Scott Hall was first to settle for a plea deal last month. A trial date has yet to be established for the remaining co-defendants, including former President Donald Trump. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
