This remarkable 1,369-piece set allows fans of Denis Villeneuve's film adaptation of Frank Herbert's literary masterpiece Dune to recreate the dragonfly-inspired Ornithopter. It includes eight all-new LEGO Minifigures portraying key characters from Dune. These are Paul Atreides, Lady Jessica, Gurney Halleck, Chani, Leto Atreides, Liet Kynes, Duncan Idaho, and Baron Harkonnen in his long robe. The set incorporates an array of intricate details, such as functional blades on the Ornithopter, which can flap and retract with a 180-degree rotation. The finished model measures 9 inches (23 cm) in height, 22 inches (57 cm) in length, and 31 inches (79 cm) in width. Furthermore, the Ornithopter comes with foldable landing gear, enhancing its authenticity. With Dune: Part Two scheduled for release in cinemas from March 15th, 2024, the LEGO Icons Dune Atreides Royal Ornithopter offers enthusiasts an opportunity to immerse themselves further in the Dune universe.
