Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 Set for Release in 2025. IGN reported that Larian, the developer of Baldur's Gate 3, has unveiled details about the game's final major patch. Patch 8, scheduled for release in 2025, will introduce crossplay, a photo mode, and 12 new subclasses to the highly successful role-playing game. Patch 8 will be the game's final major update, as the developer shifts focus to new projects outside of the Dungeons & Dragons universe. The introduction of crossplay will enable full cross-platform progression for Baldur's Gate 3 multiplayer. Baldur’s Gate 3 Patch 8 introduces new subclasses and their skills. Bard - College of Glamour, Barbarian - Path of Giants, Cleric - Death Domain, Druid - Circle of Stars, Paladin - Oath of the Crown, Fighter - Arcane Archer, Monk - Drunken Master, Ranger - Swarmkeeper, Rogue - Swashbuckler, Sorcerer - Shadow Magic, Warlock - Hexblade, Wizard - Bladesinging. Photo Mode is coming to Baldur’s Gate 3 in Patch 8. You can change camera style, scenes, lens settings etc. Larian plans a Patch 8 stress test for Xbox, PlayStation, and PC in early January.
