Black Keys Cancel Arena Tour. The Black Keys' arena tour that was set to begin in September has been canceled, 'Pitchfork' reports. While rumors of low ticket sales circulated online, . the band insists the tour was canceled so that they could play in more intimate venues and connect with fans. "Following the recent run of shows in the UK & Europe, including stops at iconic venues like Brixton Academy and the Zenith in Paris, we have decided to make some changes to the North American leg of the International Players Tour that will enable us to offer a similarly exciting, intimate experience for both fans and the band, and will be announcing a revised set of dates shortly." The band went on to say that tickets will be refunded and when new dates are announced, those people will be able to purchase tickets first. "Thank you for your understanding and apologies for the surprise change… We're pretty sure everyone is going to be excited when you see what we have in mind though, and look forward to seeing everyone soon." The Black Keys will still play at the NASCAR Chicago Street Race on July 6. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
