Blue Protocol's Western Launch Canceled as Japanese Servers Set to Close Early Next Year. Rock Paper Shotgun report that the game developed by Bandai Namco originally slated for a Western release this year via Amazon Games, has been cancelled. The developers anime-style MMO was released in Japan last year. Bandai Namco confirmed that the Japanese servers will officially close on January 18th next year and the game has been delisted from Steam. Although players who spent money on the in-game Rose Orbs currency won’t receive refunds they’ll receive 5000 free Rose Orbs each month until the servers go offline. Players can use these to purchase cosmetics in the game.
