Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Stevie Wonder and Usher headline 2025 Met Gala concert

Stevie Wonder and Usher served as the musical entertainers for this year's Met Gala on Monday night. The gala's post-dinner musical extravaganza began with actor and co-chair Colman Domingo taking to the stage near the Temple of Dendur inside the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City. According to Vogue, the Sing Sing actor recited a poem to introduce the opening act, Usher, who performed hits such as Yeah!, U Don't Have to Call and OMG as the star-studded audience got up on their feet. He was followed by music legend Wonder, who made his Met Gala debut with his family earlier that evening. Joined by a nine-person band, Wonder opened his headlining set with a capella intro of Sir Duke, before entertaining the guests with a string of hits like Black Man, Higher Ground and Isn't She Lovely. The publication reports that a singalong erupted in the room as Wonder sang Signed, Sealed, Delivered (I'm Yours) followed by I Wish and Superstition. He concluded the set by bringing Usher back out for a duet of his song Another Star. This year's celebrity co-chairs were Domingo, Lewis Hamilton, A$AP Rocky and Pharrell Williams. The latter also contributed to the musical entertainment by arranging an interlude performed by the Voices of Fire choir, directed by his uncle Bishop Ezekiel Williams.
