Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Bruce Springsteen blasts Donald Trump: 'We're living through a terrible moment in history'

Bruce Springsteen has blasted U.S. President Donald Trump's controversial policies. Last month, the Born in the U.S.A. singer hit out at the American leader during his Land of Hope and Dreams Tour concert in Manchester, England. During the show, Springsteen called Trump and his colleagues a "corrupt, incompetent, and treasonous administration”. And in an interview for The Sunday Times published over the weekend, The Boss criticised Trump's immigration policies, such as the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) raids which recently took place in Los Angeles as part of a plan to deport illegal immigrants. ”We're living through a terrible moment in history, where Congress has neutered itself and the boundaries that once curtailed this type of leadership have disintegrated,” "The pure incompetence of (the administration) may carry the seeds of its own destruction. But I don't know what's going to happen. I haven't lived through a time like this in my entire life and I'm 75 years old.” As for the divisive ICE raids, Springsteen argued there has to be a better way to tackle the issue. ”It's been disgusting and dehumanising for so many folks who live here in the country," the Born to Run hitmaker continued. Trump has not yet responded to the musician's comments. But after Springsteen launched his scathing attack last month, the President labelled him "highly overrated" and an "obnoxious jerk" on his Truth Social platform. The legendary singer's next concert is set to take place in San Sebastian, Spain on Tuesday.
