Headline: UNCAPTIONED: Deadly Mutant Snake With Three Highly Venomous Fangs Discovered In Australia

Caption:

A rare mutant snake with three sharp fangs has been discovered in Australia. Zookeepers at the Australian Reptile Park found the extra fang on a death adder they've cared for for 7 years. Death adders are among the most venomous land snakes on Earth. Their neurotoxic venom can cause paralysis, respiratory failure - and death if untreated. They're also known for having one of the fastest strikes in the animal kingdom - under 0.1 seconds. The third fully functional fang was found next to another on the left side of its mouth. With three fangs, this snake can deliver more venom than other death adders. Zookeeper Billy Collett called it “wild” and said it could be the most dangerous death adder in the world. Venom from this snake is used to make antivenom to treat snakebites. Collett admitted: “It actually makes me more nervous milking this girl - she's got three fangs.”.
