Toyota to Raise Vehicle Prices by $270 Starting in July. Toyota has announced it will raise the prices of its vehicles by an average of $270 starting in July. The company emphasized that the price hikes are part of its regular price review, not a response to President Trump’s 25% tariff on imported vehicles and auto parts. Lexus, Toyota’s luxury brand, will also see price increases, with average costs rising by $208. Despite Toyota's denial that the hikes are linked to tariffs, Toyota Motor North America COO Mark Templin previously stated that tariffs would lead to higher prices and repair bills. In other news, Toyota may move production of the next-generation RAV4 to the US, instead of continuing imports from Canada and Japan. The RAV4 was the best-selling SUV in the US last year, with over 475,000 units sold.
