There’s camouflage, and then there’s becoming the landscape itself through breathtakingly precise body painting. Artist Jörg Düsterwald has mastered this art, transforming two models into a seamless part of a comic book-inspired Christmas scene.
The mesmerising creation was photographed in Düsterwald’s studio in Hameln, Germany. Tina and Tatjana, the models, are masterfully camouflaged with detailed body paint, seamlessly blending into a festive kitchen backdrop, making them almost impossible to detect.
Adding to the magic, Diego, a Dalmatian, joins the scene in some shots, equally concealed by Düsterwald's paintwork.
With over 20 years of experience, Düsterwald has elevated body art into a versatile medium, using his talent across advertising, corporate events, and TV campaigns. This project is yet another example of his ability to turn human figures into living works of art.
