The rapper has been stabbed while in custody at the California Correctional Institute in Tehachapi, 100 miles (180 km) north of Los Angeles. Lanez, who is serving 10 years after shooting fellow artist Megan Thee Stallion in 2020, was hospitalised on Monday morning after he was stabbed by another inmate. Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, is reportedly in a stable condition after another inmate stabbed him in a prison yard with a self-made shank. He was rushed by ambulance to a nearby hospital in Bakersfield, according to the first report by TMZ.
