Cities: Skylines 2 DLC faces additional delays as developers shift focus to enhancing the assets editor. According to Eurogamer, as the first anniversary of Cities: Skylines 2's troubled launch nears, publisher Paradox Interactive has revealed more delays for the game's DLC. This postponement comes as developer Colossal Order prioritizes finishing the "essential" assets editor. Colossal Order first delayed the Cities: Skylines 2 DLC last November due to heavy criticism of the game's performance. Consequently, the Beach Properties Asset Pack was pushed from its original 2023 release date to Q1 2024. Unfortunately, when the Beach Properties Pack finally released, players criticized it for its high price and disappointing content. Since then, Colossal Order has made several improvements to Cities: Skylines 2, including enhancements to the game's economy, the introduction of decor tools, and the launch of initial mod support. Cities: Skylines 2's Urban Promenades and Modern Architecture Creator Packs are now set to release in Q4 of this year, while the Bridges & Ports Expansion has been postponed to Q2 2025.
