Ubisoft Revives Heroes of Might & Magic for 30th Anniversary Celebration. Eurogamer report the publisher is bringing back the beloved game with its eighth mainline installment, Heroes of Might & Magic: Olden Era set to release in 2025 to mark the series' 30th anniversary. This new game, the first in nearly a decade, serves as a prequel, exploring the origins of the saga on the mysterious continent of Jadame. Players will build castles, raise armies, and engage in tactical battles in a vibrant world filled with unique factions, creatures, and biomes. Olden Era introduces new combat mechanics, a refreshed visual style, and various game modes, including solo, co-op, and multiplayer. The game is expected to launch in Q2 next year on Steam Early Access, allowing players to participate in its development.
