Infiniti Sales Drop Sharply, But Nissan Plans Brand Revamp with New Models. Infiniti’s U.S. sales have plunged from a 2017 peak of over 153,000 vehicles to just 58,070 in 2024—a 10% drop from the previous year. By comparison, Honda’s Acura sold more than double and Lexus outsold both combined with 345,669 units. Still, Nissan isn’t giving up. This week, the automaker reaffirmed its commitment to revitalizing Infiniti, announcing several new product. The QX60 will get a refresh, a sportier QX80 is on the way, and a new QX65 crossover-coupé will debut, inspired by the classic FX. Plus, an all-electric SUV based on the Vision QXe concept will be built in Mississippi.
