Final Fantasy 14 for Mobile Officially Announced. Eurogamer reported that the mobile version of Final Fantasy 14 has officially been unveiled. The in-development game was announced by Final Fantasy 14 director and producer Naoki Yoshida, with development being handled by Lightspeed Studio, a subsidiary of Tencent. The studio, which is known for developing PUBG Mobile, is also behind the development of this new project. ”This is our latest MMORPG title, specifically designed for the mobile platform," Yoshida said in a video announcing the project. The video offers a first look at the gameplay, showcasing a fully realized version of Eorzea, including the cities of Ul'dah and Limsa Lominsa. In addition, all 11 crafting and gathering jobs will be included, along with side activities such as Triple Triad, chocobo racing, and home customization. For current players of Final Fantasy 14, the latest Patch 7.1 was released earlier this month, introducing a Final Fantasy 11-themed raid series along with new story content.
