Headline: UNCAPTIONED: New Quest apps will not be supported on Oculus Quest 1 headsets
Caption:
New Quest apps will not be supported on Oculus Quest 1 headsets. Rock Paper Shotgun report that from May, new apps released in the Quest store will simply be unplayable on the Quest 1. The reason being the developers will no longer be able to upload them, meaning players won’t be able to see them. This, however, is not new news, as it was announced by Meta last year as part of the obsolescence of the Quest 1. Those with an Oculus Quest 1 should put 30 April in their diaries, from when on they won’t be able to get any new apps. They will of course though be able to continue to use any existing apps they already have. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
