Britney Spears considers 'marrying herself' to be 'most brilliant' decision. Taking to Instagram on Sunday, the popstar re-posted a video from December 2022 in which she is wearing a white satin dress and veil with lace trim. In the accompanying caption, Britney insisted she has no regrets about sharing the personal moment. ”The day I married myself... Bringing it back because it might seem embarrassing or stupid, but I think it's the most brilliant thing I've ever done !!!”. The post comes a week after Britney shared a photo of herself in the same outfit and wrote, "A month after I got married on this day, I married myself!!! Things that make you go HMMMMMM…," referring to tying the knot with Sam Asghari in June 2022. In the original post shared in 2022, Britney wrote: ”Yeah... I married myself !!! I got bored, liked my veil and said IS THIS CRAZY ??? OR IS THERE SOMETHING TO IT ??? Psss yes but I'm still married to hubby too (sic).” Britney, 42, and Sam announced their separation in August 2023 and their divorce settlement was finalised last May. The pair got engaged in September 2021, two months before her controversial 13-year conservatorship was terminated by a judge.
