Davina McCall recovering at home after brain surgery. The TV presenter took to Instagram on Monday morning to reveal that she was out of the hospital and feeling "really good”. "It's just really nice to be back home. I'm on the other side," she told viewers in a video taken from her bed. ”My short-term memory is a bit remiss but that's something I can work on so I'm really happy about that. I'm writing down everything that I'm doing to keep myself feeling safe. I'm being brilliantly looked after by (her boyfriend) Michael and my mum.” Davina, 57, gave an "enormous heartfelt thank you" to anyone who had sent her love and support and then delivered a special shout-out to her stepmum Gabby. ”When something happens like this, I feel so grateful. I've always been grateful, I've been really lucky in my life but I feel unbelievably grateful right now.” In the caption, the TV star wrote: "I am feeling much better. Had a great nights sleep in my own bed. Have a couple of sleeps during the day which keeps my brain clear ... slowly slowly... huge gratitude, and love for the world and my life and the beautiful people in it (sic).” The video marks the first time she has addressed her followers directly since she revealed she was undergoing surgery on 15 November. At the time, the former Big Brother host shared that she had been diagnosed with a rare benign brain tumour called a colloid cyst and it needed to be removed via a craniotomy. Her boyfriend Michael Douglas kept her fans updated on her social media accounts and announced that she was out of intensive care last week.
