The Australian actress has made numerous allegations that the British comedian behaved inappropriately on the set of the 2016 film Grimsby, alleging he tried to pressure her into appearing nude in the film and to stick her finger up his bum in one scene. Baron Cohen and the film's producers have denied her claims. In an interview with British newspaper The Times to promote her new memoir, Rebel Rising, she claimed she was mocked over her weight on set. ”It's one thing for someone who is fat to exploit their size for comedy, but it's another for somebody else to humiliate you.” She claims in the film her costumes were chosen to, "see all the cellulite on my thighs and a top to show the fattest part of my arm... like I was something to be laughed at and degraded because of my size.” Wilson alleges that she refused to run naked across a football pitch for a scene, and a stripper was hired instead. She claims she was then made to watch the scene being filmed on a monitor. On Friday The Daily Mail newspaper published footage of the filming of the scene in which she alleged she was asked to touch Baron Cohen intimately. It appeared to show her collaborating willingly. However, Wilson called the leaking of the clip an "a**hole move" from Cohen and the film's producers, stating that it was presented out of context. ”What this edited video shows is what I had to do in order to get out of the room, as written in Rebel Rising.
