Headline: Google's past potential partnership with Tencent revealed in court documents

Caption: Eurogamer report the internet giant had proposed to shareholder Tencent, to take over Fortnite and Epic Games. The revelation came to light as part of the ongoing Epic Games vs Google antitrust case. Previously in 2022, Epic had implemented an in-game work around in the Android and iOS versions of Fornite to avoid Google and Apple fees. This led to the platform-holders pulling Fortnite from their storefonts which in turn led to lawsuits filed against them by Epic. The Epic vs Apple case was settled in 2021 with Apple coming out victorious.
