She captioned the post, "All’s fair in love and poetry... New album THE TORTURED POETS DEPARTMENT. Out April 19.” Speculation that she was set to release a new album began earlier in the night when her website displayed a black screen error message and her social media avatars turned black and white. However, many had assumed she was going to announce the re-release of her 2017 album Reputation. The Tortured Poets Department will be the 34-year-old's 11th studio album.
