Back pain Too much time laying down causes your lower back to stiffen up leading to back pain. Low mood Too much sleep and not enough daily activities can also lower your mood and make you more irritable. Headaches Those who oversleep frequently may find they experience more headaches. Some believe that this is caused by a serotonin disruption. Weight gain An inconsistent sleep cycle can disrupt your hormones that regulate your appetite which over a long period of time can lead to weight gain.
