President Joe Biden, via statement. $2.8 billion will serve projects in rural areas of the U.S. In addition to bridges, the funds will go toward a California offshore wind project, a shipping vessel container terminal in Louisiana and railroad improvements in Nevada. The White House has previously announced 40,000 additional infrastructure projects worth over $400 billion as part of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, the Inflation Reduction Act and more.
