Caption: Lana Del Rey insists she wasn't upset at the Grammys. The Video Games hitmaker has responded to rumours that she was upset after losing out at the 2024 Grammy Awards on Sunday. Fans also speculated that Lana was less than impressed when Taylor Swift invited her on-stage as she accepted her award for Album of the Year, for which Lana was also nominated. On Wednesday, the Summertime Sadness hitmaker took to Instagram to clarify that she was not upset during the ceremony. She wrote in the comments section of a post shared by a fan account: "I literally just loved being there. I love to see everyone, get the tea and hang out, Get dressed up I literally did not feel 1 ounce of negative emotion at any point in that award ceremony.” The Young and Beautiful singer added, "It was pure funniness and laughter.” During Taylor's acceptance speech, she praised her Snow on the Beach collaborator for her contributions to the music industry. ”Lana Del Rey, who is hiding, but I think so many female artists would not be where they are and would not have the inspiration they have if it weren't for the work that she's done," the All Too Well singer gushed. ”I think she's a legacy artist, a legend in her prime right now. I'm so lucky to know you and to be your friend.” Lana was nominated for five Grammys this year, including Album of the Year and Best Alternative Music Album for Did You Know That There's a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd. THIS VIDEO MUST NOT BE EDITED FOR LENGTH TO COMBINE WITH OTHER CONTENT
