Her name change comes after the Red Bull Formula One boss was accused of inappropriate behaviour by a female team employee earlier this year. He strongly denied any wrongdoing and was cleared of misconduct following an investigation. His accuser was reportedly suspended on full pay and is currently appealing the decision to clear Christian. At a news conference in March, the Red Bull team principal thanked his "supportive wife" as he called for a line to be drawn under the incident. Horner reportedly said, "I'm very thankful I have a beautiful family and a very supportive wife. I'm the only one who has been named in this.” "So of course, it's very trying. When there's children involved, family, parents... it's not pretty.” "The intrusion on my family is now enough. We need to move forward.
