Rock Paper Shotgun report that Supermassive Games, the studio behind the anthology The Dark Pictures is helming the development of Little Nightmares 3 which is due for release on PlayStation, PS5, PC Nintendo Switch, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S, sometime in 2024, with several play options on offer including solo, with a friend in online co-op, or with an AI-controlled second character. Little Nightmares was previously created by Swedish developer Tarsier Studios. Rights to the game remain in the hands of Bamdai Namco who have apparently already tapped Supermassive to also helm an Enhanced Edition of Little Nightmares 2 for Xbox Series X/S and PlayStation 5.
