Mirror carp flounder in the net as the holding pond is being harvested. The fishermen at Teichgut Peitz GmbH manage about 860 hectares of pond area and plan to harvest about 300 metric tons of carp and other edible fish this year. The origins of fishing in Peitz date back to the 16th century.
