Police were deployed outside the Constitutional Tribunal after judge Anna Korwin-Piotrowska, elected by the Parlament in March 2026, issued an order suspending Tribunal President Bogdan Swieczkowski and Vice-President Bartlomiej Sochanski from their duties for one month. The Tribunals official account said its website had been unlawfully taken over and called the move a coup, while Prosecutor General Waldemar Zurek filed five motions to lift the immunity of Swieczkowski and Sochanski.
