Headline: Israeli Settlers And Forces Attacked Palestinian Farmers During Olive Harvest

Caption:

Israeli settlers and Israeli forces attacked Palestinian farmers while they were picking olives in the Jabal Al-Arma area, east of Beita, south of Nablus. Settlers fired live ammunition toward the farmers, with no injuries reported. According to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society, Israeli forces also beat a 46-year-old Palestinian farmer during raids on olive farms in Beita. Witnesses told Anadolu that Israeli forces fired stun grenades and tear gas at farmers in the Jabal Al-Arma area, forcing them to leave. The olive harvest begins in early October and continues through the end of November, making it an important agricultural and economic season for Palestinian communities. The Palestinian Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission reported that more than 45,000 trees were cut down or damaged across the West Bank during the first half of 2026, including more than 26,000 olive trees.
