Israelis gather at Hostages Square in Tel Aviv during the “October 7 Failure Sukkah,” a protest initiative organized by families affected by the October 7, 2023 attack, including relatives of victims, former hostages and their families. Participants called for accountability and a full investigation into the failures surrounding the attack. Protesters used signs, masks and symbolic performances criticizing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and other political and security officials, as families renewed calls for those who held positions of responsibility at the time to be held accountable. The protest initiative is being held at Hostages Square from September 27 to 29.
