Opposition supporters demonstrate in Caracas demanding that opposition leader María Corina Machado be allowed to return to Venezuela and calling for new presidential elections. Protesters gathered at Plaza Venezuela before marching toward the headquarters of the National Electoral Council (CNE). Some demonstrators later occupied a section of the Gran Cacique Guaicaipuro highway near the Central University of Venezuela, disrupting traffic.
