Fire engines are parked outside a 25-storey apartment block damaged by a Russian attack. On the night of September 12, the Russian army launched a massive missile and drone strike on Odesa and the region. Fires broke out in apartments on the 21st to 23rd floors of the block. Rescuers saved seven people, including two children, while some residents were trapped in an elevator. The blast wave also damaged neighbouring residential buildings and a low-pressure gas pipeline. Seventeen people were injured, among them a five-month-old infant.
