Police forensic technicians are collecting potential evidence in the vicinity of a substation at the RWE power plant in Weisweiler, Eschweiler. On Friday morning, there were also operations at other sites with critical energy infrastructure: Near Aachen, the area around the substation in Weisweiler was searched. A police spokesperson said there was a letter claiming responsibility that mentioned another incident there.
