Campaigners from The Dad Shift, Dads Rock and Fathers Network Scotland gathered in Glasgow as part of what organisers describe as the first-ever parents strike, taking place in cities across the UK. The organisers argue that the UKs current statutory paternity provision is inadequate and are calling for flexible working by default and at least six weeks paternity leave at 90 per cent pay, including for self-employed workers.
