The training base of FC Chornomorets Odesa in the suburbs of Odesa is damaged by a Russian attack, Ukraine, August 22, 2026. The Liustdorf sports and recreation complex in Sovinion, a closed elite cottage village and prestigious leisure area in the south of Odesa near the Black Sea, sustained serious damage. No casualties among the team were reported. This is not the first case of targeted destruction of the club’s property. In February 2025, the training base was shelled for the first time, while on August 7, 2026, a missile strike hit the Chornomorets Stadium, the club’s main home arena in Odesa, injuring people.
