The Soniachna Halereia shopping and entertainment centre is damaged by a Russian drone strike in Kryvyi Rih, Ukraine, August 22, 2026. On Friday, August 21, Russian forces carried out a double drone attack on the city’s largest mall. Rescue and recovery operations are underway, with workers dismantling damaged reinforced concrete and metal structures and examining the rubble. Nine people, including two children, remain missing. A total of 130 civilians, among them 25 children, sustained injuries of varying severity, while the death toll has risen to 16.
