Horses wander through a wildfire-affected area near Katsikali Elies, a small village near Megara, as the fire leaves large areas of vegetation and wildlife habitat burned. Several houses surrounded by the fire remained standing. Local residents said they helped firefighters battle the blaze from the ground during the fire.
