Members of the Unite, UNISON and GMB unions held a protest outside Glasgow City Chambers to coincide with a vote on a new pay and grading scheme for council employees. The unions claim the councils proposals would adversely affect low-paid workers, particularly women, who they say have been underpaid for two decades.
