A local resident clears broken glass from the balcony of his apartment in a multi-storey residential building damaged by an overnight Russian attack on the capital, in Kyiv’s Solomianskyi district. Eight people were killed in the district as a result of Russia’s overnight massive combined attack. At least 16 multi-storey residential buildings were damaged, including a nine-storey building whose upper floors were destroyed, as well as a school, a kindergarten and premises of a children’s hospital. State Emergency Service rescuers and municipal workers are dismantling hazardous structures and clearing debris at the impact sites. An emergency assistance centre has been set up for those affected.
