More than 100 migrants, most of them Moroccan, have been protesting for days in front of National Police vans during the daily food distribution provided by the Spanish Red Cross at Trampolín Beach. “No asylum, no food” is the chant repeated by the migrants on the sand, while African migrants continue to stay in the temporary accommodation facilities set up on the Ceuta beach. Authorities are expected to clear the beach in the coming days and transfer the migrants to four reception facilities announced today by Spain’s Minister for Migration, Elma Saiz.
