Isabela, the Galápagos giant tortoise, is being showered by zookeeper Philip Matias at the Darwineum in Rostock Zoo. The 31-year-old female is one of three Galapagos giant tortoises at the Darwineum. Daily showers are part of the care routine, but on particularly warm days, these cold-blooded animals especially enjoy the shower as a welcome way to cool off.
