Head of the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Kyiv region Serhii Dyshkant and Deputy Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Ukraine Katrin Buchholz participate in the handover of modern machinery to Ukraine’s State Emergency Service units to boost emergency response within the Strengthening State and Municipal Emergency Management in Ukraine project, implemented by GIZ on behalf of the German Government, August 7, 2026. The assistance package includes robotic systems for firefighting and work in hazardous conditions, heavy firefighting and rescue vehicles, personnel cars, pumping equipment, personal protective gear and other specialised equipment.
