Participants in the horse race held as part of the Duhner Wattrennen in Cuxhaven ride across the mudflats. This horse race on the seabed is the only one of its kind in the world and attracts several thousand visitors each year, who watch the spectacle from the dike in Cuxhaven-Duhnen.
