During the Duhner Watt Race, a driver sits in a carriage as it races along the 1,200-meter-long course through the Wadden Sea. This horse race on the seabed is the only one of its kind in the world and attracts several thousand visitors each year, who watch the spectacle from the dike in Cuxhaven-Duhnen.
