Workers and technicians are on the construction site helping to transport the structural framework of the new Sternbrücke, a 108-meter-long and 21-meter-wide, column-free arch-and-beam structure that is being moved on self-propelled modular transporters (SPMTs · SPMTs) on the specially prepared roadway of Max-Brauer-Allee. On Thursday, the transport of the new Sternbrücke continued, and it is scheduled to be installed at its destination at the intersection of Stresemannstraße and Max-Brauer-Allee overnight.
