An eight-metre steel sculpture titled “Phoenix” is installed outside the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry building in Kyiv, Ukraine, July 27, 2026. Created by Ukrainian artist Oleksii Sai, it was first presented at the Burning Man festival in Nevada, USA, in August 2023. Shaped like a bird, the installation echoes the Ukrainian coat of arms, known as the trident or tryzub, and symbolises resilience, transformation and the ability of Ukrainians to pass through fire without losing themselves.
