Günter Nowald, director of Kranichwelten and managing director of Kranichschutz Deutschland, feeds two young cranes at Kranichwelten in Günz near Stralsund. Two young cranes were rescued by people and have therefore become habituated to humans. As a result, they can no longer be released back into the wild. They now live at the Crane Center
