A number of teachers gathered at a safe location within the grounds of MAN 3 Padang school in West Sumatra, Indonesia, on Tuesday, June 14, 2026. Preliminary checks by Densus 88 (the National Police's counter-terrorism unit) revealed several items seized from the student who brought a bomb to the school—including a black box, a black bag, a mobile phone, firecrackers, a knife, arrows, marbles, bolts, and other objects—and the homemade bomb had detonated once next to a classroom, though there were no casualties.
