Activists from Defend Our Juries and the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign demonstrated outside the High Court in Edinburgh before the commencement of Diet of Debate proceedings, a test case involving people arrested in Scotland during pro-Palestinian protests under Section 13 of the Terrorism Act 2000. Campaigners contend the arrests breached their rights under Articles 10 and 11 of the European Convention on Human Rights and form part of what they describe as a broader erosion of human rights protections in the UK.
