An employee of an electric grid operator takes a selfie on a lattice tower next to an osprey nest. For the fourth time, three of these nestlings were banded. To do so, the team climbed the high-voltage tower to the nest, briefly removed the birds, and fitted them with numbered bands on the ground. This effort supports research on these rare birds, which live in our region from March through September.
